Her parents both died in their 50's--her mother due to arthritis complications and her father, from a heart attack, she knew that she needed to take charge of her health to ensure they could ensure that the same fate not await her. Dieting was not the goal but to enhance our health and find ways to improve the way our bodies were designed to function.
