Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. Ladd went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina with her ground and pound techniques and earned an TKO second-round victory. She maintained her dominance and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and got her a night's performance bonus. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
